Who’s getting married this week? (10/19/20-10/25/20)

Wedding was yesterday! As of the day before (when I started this response), we were still trying to get the guest list in order because this one needed a plus one because that one had it. Then this one's plus one may not make it so trying to fill in that space with another. We had no DJ. His friends were asking, "how can I help", "cash or gift card", my friends were asking "what kind of foods you got?"


BUT, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! Okay, maybe not perfect, but it felt that way. Minor issues here and there - didn't have time to change into my black dress, our cake did not have the flowers placed, my niece and her husband who did not RSVP showed up anyway then complained (they didn't like the food, they were bored) - but it was so beautiful. I literally gasped when I walked out to head down the aisle. The venue was stunning, the people we love were all there, the DJ (hired from Craigslist on Monday night) played everything we wanted AND took requests, the photographers. I couldn't have asked for better vendors. Most importantly, my husband (!) and I did this together and survived. It was like a dream - really.
Advise: Make sure everything is done beforehand because may you think you have time the day of to do one more thing... you don't.

Yeah, we were worried about the same, but things look great for us now. How about you?

Saturday is our big day. I’m off work Thursday and Friday to get everything ready. Going to pick up chairs tomorrow and shop for food for the rehearsal dinner and reception tomorrow too. My bridesmaids are coming Friday to help set up. Rehearsal and then taco bar rehearsal dinner. My girls and I are staying at our house Friday night and getting ready there. My FH & I have been working hard on the house since July (it was my granddad’s) to update and get it pretty and ready for us to get ready and the photographer to come. My FH & his best man have a hotel room and then we’re getting married at the same park I love to run at and he loves to fish.

Right now only 20% chance so I'm feeling really optimistic! But bought some clear umbrellas to have on deck just in case 😉🤞🏻 Good luck on Saturday!!

Last minute details are finally done. Today I'm relaxing tomorrow I'm going to enjoy every moment. Forecast is calling for a chance of rain in the late afternoon.
