Hahahaha it's not a requirement. But traditionally the father of the bride opens the toasts and my grandfather is serving in that role. And he DEFINITELY did not want to do that lol. FH and I are putting the wedding on ourselves so we are technically the hosts and decided to thank everyone for coming Plus since we don't get to do personalized vows I thought I might say a few things about him. Watch his part of the speech be: "thanks for coming." LOL

A little random but is anyone else getting the "sinking in feeling" that they're GETTING MARRIED in a few days?????

PS - who else has last minute things they need to finish?? Haha. Little stress coming from it as well. Not all on me funnily enough my fiance (typical 'man' from what I hear; not all but most lol who don't like wedding planning and he is a natural procrastinater) just thinks we had MORE than enough time and now is getting the rest of our (mandatory) wedding stuff this week. I'm over here like 🤦
Anyone else have this issue? Lol

PPS - Any of y'all also wanted to do something and ended up not doing it because of everything else going on and just didn't have the energy, funds, or just completely forgot?
Like me: thought about doing some sort of unity ceremony. Now I'm like oh well. 🤣🤣

Yay it's wedding week!!! Freaking out about the weather and a last minute change to the seating chart. Oh, and I got my monthly gift (hahaha)

This is pretty much me right now. Trying to finish up last minute things and nixed somethings because I just don't feel like doing it now. I'm planned out and ready to say my vows, eat and drink. Everything else will fall into place, or not! lol

The last day of work before the wedding was today. As I walked out all I could think was when I return I will walk in here a married gal. :-)

Tomorrow I get my nails and feet done. Also getting a color rinse for my hair. This is the first time getting my nails done so I am excited to see the results.

Friday is supposed to be a chill day mostly. In the morning I have to drop off some things to my planner. Then I pack and head off to the hotel.

Sure I made checklist for the rehearsal/dinner, to take to hotel, to take to wedding, to take to reception, to confirm with vendors, and then a general to do list! haha

Today is my last day in the office before the wedding weekend and I have so many nervous butterflies in my stomach. I am trying to be present and enjoy the upcoming weekend.
