As for me I can’t say I have a lot to do it’s just everything is stressing me out. My FH found out two weeks ago that he has Certification testing the 9th and 10th so he can’t take any time off after the wedding. So I don’t see a point in taking time off.

I got into a car accident ten days ago, everyone’s fine, I just thought it was minor damage but it turned out to be major and it has put me behind on when you have to wait on others to get things done.

Out of the 110 that were invited I got 75 yes and then this weekend most of his side said they can’t make it cuz a his uncle is in his final days of life and they don’t know when he will go.😢

And last petty thing is that I’m a stress eater and all my work of trying to get into my dress comfortably fell apart this past month and now my dress is so snug with no room or time to take it out. But who needs to sit, eat or breathe on their wedding day am I right😅😭

Sorry for the long reply but I felt like that moment where you start crying as soon as someone asks you what’s wrong, you know? 😆

Actually just reception is at a farm. Ceremony is at FH's church.

View Quoted Comment Denise, yes we have been legally married for 2 years. I put in my Amazon order yesterday and checked it an hour later and saw that I put the shipping address to my home in CO and not my brothers in TX. So that was a big overlooked. Thank goodness I caught it 😅

There's a facility my order usually go to not to far from me and yet I still don't receive my orders on time. Currently waiting for robes that should've been here yesterday smh. Congrats!

Yeah, it was an Airbnb turning into a wedding venue. They had 9months to prep the place. Their sprinkler system is broken, so they rely on mithrr nature to water it in TEXAS. What a gamble 😂 it all worked out in the end. We are way happier at the new venue.

Oh wow. I am happy that you are able to vent it all out. It's doesnt fix the issue, but way better than bottling it up. A smaller intimate wedding will still be special and easier to host! 😉 Guest aren't considerate with their RSVP or asking to bring a +1 lol. Man, it is not cheap to have a wedding...

Stress eating is a curse! I know it's only a few days from your wedding, but you can try intermediate fasting. It helped me a lot. I started off doing a 12hr fast now I do a 14hrs. It helped me loose 10lbs. I gain 3lbs bc of traveling. But now it going away bc I am doing it again. I also cut diary and a lot of meat out of my diet. I workout to burn off stress and calories lol

View Quoted Comment They have been on time for me. I will keep a track of my order. I always call customer service if a delivery is not on time and I am very stern with them. Everything is suppose to arrive on Wednesday. Wedding is on Saturday, so hopefully that is enough time for me. I thought about ordering robes! I created a schedule of thr girls makeup and hair and figured that the robes wouldn't be as cute lol

View Quoted Comment I have basically done everything. From finding the venue and vendors, to organizing stuff. My venue gives the option to have a day of coordinator which I took. But I planned everything. My fh and I decided on the colors, I chose the theme ( rustic chic) 😊 his mom is doing my centerpieces and the arch. I am getting my bridesmaids makeup done but they don't live out here so they will have their hair done. I tossed the robe idea back and forth and decided I would go for it if I found some reasonably priced. I got welcome bags for out of town guest and found a few cool things to use to put inside. The groomsmen and bridesmaids welcome bags will have a little extra inside theirs though. I found a suit for our son bc I wasn't satisfied with pricing for kids at the place the guys were getting theirs. I have all my accessories for my dress( shoes, slip, bridal buddy lol) I didnt have a lot of vendors so that was easy to track. Music, life celebrant) who's marrying us) my bouquet is not real but I am getting real flowers for the bridesmaids. I ordered from fiftyflowers.com they come Thursday same day my little sister comes to town. We'll handwrap those, have boutonnieres for men. I even made a brooch corsage for my mother inlaw. Nothing bundt is doing our Cakes. I think I have it all covered. Marriage license is packed with my stuff. Finally a conversation with our photographer tomorrow. 4 days! I can't believe it. I started planning the beginning of this year too lol!

You have a few last minute things to pull together. I hope it goes smoothly. I hired H-E-B for florals and they do delivery ($365) for all my florals. It's a lot cheaper than most people but I still cant believe I am spending that much on flowers hahaha I wish I had a flower garden!

I love the welcome bag idea! I wont be able to pull that off together, so guest are on their own haha i created a a bunch of schedules for vendors and coordinators to follow. I hope that makes my day less stressful and smoother. I have never planned a wedding. So my wedding day is the ultimate test on how successful I am at planning hahaha

View Quoted Comment You'll be fine. Just enjoy yourself and if you have a maid or matron give her and the best man task. For example one could be responsible for packing up gifts and the other can ensure vendors stay on the time line- you can even assign this to someone not in the wedding. Oooh donuts! We are having those fresh baked as a late night snackfor guest. Our wedding is from 4pm- 10pm. I'm looking forward to stuffing my face too lol ! Can't wait to hear how everything goes!!

I am...My big day is Sept 7th. In 2 days. Unbelievably fast. Im getting jittery and excited. Im also praying some family will make it to our big day since traveling from Atlanta to Va. with rhe hurry and all🙏🏽

Saturday September 7th! Woot woot! Outside Gazebo wedding!! I cant wait for all the planning and coordinating to be done and finally be the mrs to our household!! Congratulations to all other brides!!

It's a little farther out than just a week. We're getting married in a Renaissance/Fantasy themed wedding. He popped the question at a Renaissance Faire so we thought it would be fun to carry the theme through! It's in 30 days & we just can't wait!
