My mom and grandma went the first time, and my mom and MOH the second time.

I just went this last weekend and I invited my 3 bridesmaids, MOH, and my mom. It was fun to get everyone together since not everyone in my party knew each other.

I just took my mom and mother-in-law to be! The three of us got to share this experience together and it was perfect and not overwhelming!

View Quoted Comment Yes! I wasn’t planning on buying anything that day since it was my first dress shopping experience but I ended up choosing the second dress I tried on. The dress really ties in with our theme and it was only $200! I kind of really love that it is so different from everything else I was looking at.

I invited all my girls to go and my FMIL, but since I had made the appt on a whim, most of them couldn't make it - which was actually kind of nice. I ended up going with my older sister (bridesmaid) and my FMIL.

I took my mom to the one place I looked that wasnt online. I took her so she could have the experience because she missed out with me the first time and my sister didnt go dress shopping

My brother went wedding dress shopping with me. I kind of made him because I needed a ride to my appointment. He was a bigger help than he realized though. Honestly couldn’t have found my dress without my brother there.

I went by myself to get my dress. But I am having seconds thoughts so going to a different store to try other dresses with my mom. I am actually dreading it as she is my biggest critic (I took lovely engagement photos and everyone complimented me on how good we looked and the first thing my mom said when she saw the photos was you look fat why did you wear that dress). I am only going with her so she can have the experience of going with her daughter, I plan to go back afterwards with my maid of honor/ bestie.

I took my mother, step mom, grandmother, future mother-in-law, and his grandmother. I do not regret the decision at all. ❤
