ChampagneDream, on November 8, 2014 at 1:14 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 13

I love, love, love seeing all the E rings here on WW, but I don't see a lot of pear shaped diamonds??

Am I the only one??

Not this time. The one from my first marriage was a pear shape. They weren't at all popular back then and I always got compliments on it. I'd take a picture and show you but I traded it back to the jeweler and let FH use the 2600 that they gave me to go towards my ring (that was the only way I was letting him spend so much money on a ring).

ME!!!!! FH originally got me a different style. But I always loved the fancy shapes like pear and marquis, so after a while we changed it. SO happy we did, we both love this one so much Smiley smile

PS yours is beautiful! What a blinder!

My mom's is pear shaped. But of course I didn't take the three generations ring picture like I wanted. Maybe we can for thanksgiving or Christmas since we just need our three left hands.

I love when the ring stands out from the band. What wedding band are you ladies going with?

Here's my set. I got a wrap to go with the e ring and also a plain diamond band for when I don't want to wear my set. My E ring is sorta big (no brag, just saying) so I want to be able to ditch it some days so it's not always in the way (cleaning the house, running errands, etc)

Yup I love that the shape just makes it subtly different. I am stuck on the band. Im thinking something like this... But so far every band Ive tried with it look a little strange, and I like the simplicity and daintiness of my ring on its own!

@ Mrs T- that'll make a beautiful set!! Plus, you're right, it is beautiful on it's own. We had to buy the second one because my wrap can't be worn alone.

@ChampagneDream that's a good idea on the two bands..my e-ring is kinda big as well, also pear shaped, blue sapphire stone. (looks way different than the normal e-rings), love it! Smiley smile

Love these rings! My mom had a pear shape ring which was gorgeous. Mine is a solitaire and the FH loves black diamonds so that's what the middle is an the rest is white sapphires. Weird, but I still love it Smiley smile
