Who's hosting? Who's paying for the wedding?

My father and stepmother generously helped us out with quite a lot. I paid for roughly a third, I think, if I did the math right?

And ILs threw a rehearsal dinner.

My dad is paying for the whole wedding.

We're paying for it. Our parents haven't offered and we haven't asked

My FH and I are paying for everything. We wanted it this way so that we can do exactly as we please and no one can say, "Oh well I gave you money so I think you should do this."

My parents are paying for the venue, food, drinks and flowers. I was supposed to pay for my dress but my mom snuck her credit card to the stylist at my appointment as a surprise. My fiancé and I are paying for the photographer, DJ, stationary, honeymoon and other extras, and his parents are covering the rehearsal dinner. It’s a team effort so there’s not really a specific “host”.

FH’s dad isn’t in the picture and his mom is also self supporting so we wouldn’t want her to put herself in a financially compromising position.

We’re paying for our wedding and in the last few days decided to go from a full sized wedding to a small elopement in the mountains because it’s significantly cheaper and more beautiful than anything we could afford in Denver.

My dad offered to help out up to $10k, we just haven't decided yet where to allocate it (flights or vendor/s, we live overseas). Mom hasn't said anything, but I suspect she might help with the dress. Otherwise, we're paying the rest.
