Who’s in Charge?

Crystal, on January 19, 2022 at 1:25 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10
I see all these beautiful and extravagant wedding ceremonies and ceremonies, so my question is, who is responsible of physically putting all the together?

(I’m hoping it’s not the wedding party because that’s way too much work to do the day of a wedding especially when you already have all kinds of appointments.)

A florist will typically setup the flower decor, and a day of coordinator also sometimes will help set up other decor items (centerpieces, signs, etc). I believe you can hire a decorator too. Rental companies will often setup any decor that you rent from them as well.

Those are purchased by couples who have tons of money and don’t do DIY. Typically those are assembled by florists and their teams and cost as much as some entire wedding budgets.

The pictures you posted are likely put together by either a florist or an event coordinator that has decorating as part of their contract. Both of these pictures are probably well into five figures.

Usually vendors will set up and control their own items, so lighting specialists for room lighting, florists for florals, etc. If you brought in outside chairs, linens, glassware, then the rental company lays them out and removes them. Some venues may provide free votives and light your candles as well as fold napkins with the place settings. It helps to have a wedding planner with design and decor in their duties to create your vision (with your approval), manage your vendors delivery, and execute your reception look. Interestingly, I've been this person for family events, but I left my own wedding in others' capable hands. That's too much stress. I did diy my own uplighting as this was purchased last minute. Best wishes! There are many ways to have a wedding.

Everything is hired out. The florist will set up the flower arrangements. Rental companies will set up your tables and chairs. Weddings like the ones you have included pictures of are designed by event designers, and executed by them and their staff.

I think a group of professionals is working on such a decor at once. These are florists, decorators, people who perform installation work, etc.

I also need to consult on the decor of the wedding to understand the full picture. I want to try to contact the designers from this site: https://planner5d.com/gallery Maybe someone has already worked with them?

In my area, there are companies that do everything. They usually have "events" in their name. In the Vendor manager of Wedding Wire, you can search for them under Wedding Planning or Event Rentals.

When I was married before my wedding planner hired people who helped with the set up and the florists team put up the flowers. The venue had people who put up the tables and chairs.
