Personally I like the idea skipping the bridal party for the sake of first dress a figuring out she was going to stand with me. My girlfriend group is large and I was not gonna have 20 women walking down the aisle. Second I just love the idea of walking alone to him.

We chose family members and close friends to be in our wedding party. We didn’t want any Drama either. My MOH is a friend I’ve known since 14 and my oldest daughter is my maid of honor and my other is a brides Maid. My grand babies are my ring bearers and flower girls.

I am doing a smaller wedding, I have 3 bridesmaids / 1 MOH and FH has 3 groomsman / 1 BM. When we were thinking of doing just a small intimate wedding we were just going to do two people on each side.

How I chose my 4 ladies, is when I need advice I have those 3 girls I always go too. Each of them give me advice in different ways. I have my wild and crazy friend, my religious sweet soul friend, and my mom friend who has gone through everything. Then of course my 4th lady is like my soul sister so I couldn't leave her out. They each contribute to my life in different ways because life is better with multiple best friends for different needs right? I couldn't imagine going through my wedding day without having them there.

My fiancé and I both decided that it was our day to celebrate and we wanted to avoid any additional stress so it is just he and I in our wedding party. I’m incredibly happy we made the decision together on it ☺️

I have three and he has three. My sister and his two sisters for my side. His two brothers and my brother for his side. We wanted to keep it to just family in the wedding party and small.
