We had a smaller wedding with about 55 people. My sister was my MOH and a friend was the Best Man. My niece was the flower girl and that's it! I decided to not have my two friends as bridesmaids bc they live 2 hrs from me and we had a covid wedding and I know one of them was really worried about it all. This was good for us and the situation.

We have each other’s siblings in our wedding party with each of our best friends as MOH and best man. So 3 on each side in total. We did this because we don’t have very many close friends and we get along well with each other’s siblings

We are keeping things really small. I had a large issue hit me back before I got engaged that led to a falling out with half of my friend group. It was really hurtful and sucked, but looking back needed to happen. So my remaining close friends who helped me get through it are standing up with me. I have my sister as my Maid of Honor, my best friend as my Matron of Honor, and then my best guy friend is my bridesman. Due to my matron of honor’s new work schedule I may talk to her about stepping down as she is literally traveling all over the world and has absolutely zero free time to help plan events which was one of the reasons I made her of an honor instead of a bridesmaid. There’s still time though so we will see what happens as things hopefully cool down. My fiancé is having his brother as the best man, my Matron of honor’s husband as a groomsman, and his one childhood friend he still talks to on the regular as a groomsman.

I asked 10 ppl to be my bridesmaids. 2 of my sisters, my daughter, 3 are friends I've known 20+ years, and rest are from the last 2-15 years..... I'm regretting having at least half of them because they're disinterested or too busy or are wayyyy too opinionated and the stress is driving me crazy. I'm already having wedding nightmares 😕.

I invite many of my friends to my wedding ceremony. They enjoyed me a lot at my wedding ceremony. All my friends are very happy about this.
