Who's officiating?

After hiring our DOC, she mentioned that both her and her husband (assistant) are ordained and offered to officiate at no additional charge. Definitely took them up on that offer!

My best friend since 6th grade actually was our officiant. She did such a fabulous job and it was so personal because she knew us both so well.

We hired the minister at my grandpa's church, this was super important to my mom and my grandpa that a minister officiate the ceremony. My FH and I couldn't care less as long as we are married, so we gave in on this one.

We hired a professional officiant that we were recommended by through our venue coordinator. We met with her and absolutely loved her!

We asked a pastor at our church. He teaches our Sunday school class, and we have enjoyed getting to know him over the last year. We wanted someone who knew us as a couple and would make our ceremony special.

Our officiant is my fiancé’s youth pastor.

We hired an officiant we found here on WW. He is charming and funny and my FH and I felt immediately comfortable with him. I actually had a fun conversation with him on the phone today

My father is actually officiating our wedding, he’s walking me down the isle then turning around to perform our ceremony. He was a lawyer for 35 years and has performed many marriages, now in retirement he officiates for extra $. I’m free of course! Haha!

My grandpa will be officiating our ceremony! We wanted someone close to us that knew us and he's always been a great speaker. He's already put in so much work to it too. Looking up all the laws and everything he needs to do. He even said he thinks he'll become a Justice of the Peace instead of a minister since he knows that we don't want a religious ceremony.

This is another fun one for me !!! My older cousin Stephen. I never had an old brother but I had a few older cousins who have always treated me like a little sister (his little sister is my MOH) and Stephen has always been there so having there for this moment is huge for me plus-He’s officiated a few of his friends wedding so he kinda knows the ropes

We have two! My uncle (who's a pastor), and my FH's pastor.

My officiant is Chris Godwin (soon to be Rev.) I've known him for 2.5 years through Hearthstone Grove, ADF. He and his wife have really helped me a lot through some hard times. They welcomed my FH with open arms and really made him feel a part of the group which has become like family. Godwin is also 'free' though he's getting tipped anyway. I cannot imagine my day with out them.
