Who's the first person you told about the proposal?

My middle sister was the first to be told! She was happy and was like "it's about time!" LOL!

My mom (and dad) first, then my kids. His mother, and then we started with the texts to close friends and family. Couldn’t get ahold of his dad for almost a full day so we waited at least 24 hours before posting anything on social media

A Bridesmaid that had to be replaced.

Both of our families knew before he popped the question, but the first person I called was my best friend Paige!

My parents and sister were there when it happened, my brother and SIL were in the loop (and were next) and then I texted my closest coworkers who had been anticipating this news and made me swear before leaving for summer (teachers) that i would text them when it happened, and close friends.

My dad and my sister. They already knew because he drove up to my dad's house to ask his permission. Some of our friends knew it was happening, they just didn't know when. And the guys at his job knew because one of them found the ring he had hidden in his toolbox.

My parents were there to see the proposal, we were on vacation with them! Next we called my fiancé’s parents, and then my grandma who had been asking about when we were getting married for years!

I told my BFF because she's my MOH and we work together so of course she's the first person I had to tell

My sister was there photographing it so she's the first one I "told", but apart from telling people in person it was my maternal grandparents that we called first I believe!

We were in Iceland so our access to the internet to contact anyone was pretty limited. However, when we got back to the hotel, I called my mom first.

I called my best friend! We were in a really remote area in the Adirondacks and weren’t going to be home for another 4 days. I wanted to tell me family in person, but I was EXPLODING from not being able to tell anyone so I texted her a picture of the ring. She apparently already knew it was going to happen though hahaha
