Who's the first person you told about the proposal?

I called my best friend and told her! My parents were coming into town the next day, so I wanted to show them in person!

I told my mom and my fiancé shared it in a group message with his mom, dad, and sister, and brother in law

It wasn’t an official proposal until I talked to his dad, so I guess his dad was the first person we told xD.

The first I told were my parents but they already knew it was in the works. The first person I told that didn’t know was my sister.

He proposed in front of me and my mother. He took us both out and when I came back from the bathroom he was on one knee.

The first people we told were my fiance's parents, we called them on the way from where he proposed to my parents' house.

My mother and father! His mom and dad and my maid of honor and matron of honor. Brothers and sisters. Everyone else found ought on Facebook which pissed off one family member but I feel like I only owed my actual parents a phone call before posting.

My grandparents! We were on a family vacation & my FH proposed while we were put island hoping, when we returned to the ship I ran straight to my grandparents! (They raised me so they're practically my mom & dad)

Second person to know was my BFF who FaceTimed me right away!

Well, everybody already knew when my FH was going to propose since he texted and called them the day before. I let everyone else know through a photo of my ring on Facebook

My whole family was there, but I snapped my cousins group right after 😊

We got engaged 10 years ago. I can’t remember haha

We called my mom first, my sister and grandma. Then we called his mom and dad, grandma and then called my best friend/ maid of honor before posting on social media.

My whole family was there for my proposal and then it spread like wildfire across social media so I really didn't have to tell anyone.

We were in Spain so I could only text my parents with a picture of the ring a few days after, they told family I couldn't tell, then I shared with close friends through snapchat. After I made sure important people were told I posted online, got on the plane and didn't get to see responses for 12+ hours.

Our parents were the first ones, but they had been waiting for it for 2 months.

My Mom and Dad! We got engaged at like 8 p.m. and we decided to enjoy the night on our own, but we video called my parents at like 5:30 a.m.! We told his parents later that day!

My FH purposed on a mountain we had hiked on one of our first dates (and where we had our first kiss). Once we got back to the bottom, we drove to his parents house to share the news (which they were expecting). Then we went back to our house, where my dad was staying with us (he was sick and I was taking care of him) and I told him. Then I sent a group text to my 3 sisters and 2 best friends... and some point after that I posted on Facebook for the rest of the world.
