Who's the "go-to" person for your wedding day?

For us it was our wedding planner and her 2 assistants. We also had a dedicated event coordinator at our venue that helped as well.

We're having a coordinator to handle everything but we will also be having two ushers to help people find seats at the ceremony

Our venue is all inclusive which includes a planner who will be on-site the day of.

Our venue came with a day of coordinator who dealt with vendors and kept us on time. It was great because literally all I had to think about on our wedding day was getting dressed and getting married. Other than that, I gave my brother all of the tips to give out to the people who worked the wedding because we did not want to have to think about that.

I have no idea! I’m hoping people will step up because I don’t want it all to fall on MOH.

My DOC is in charge of all of that. I’m happy to have a pro handling it!

Our venue also comes w/ a DOC - she will be handling a majority of these tasks.

We have a DOC included but we may need to ask someone to help out because our venue parking is across the street kiddie corner and people CAN NOT park on the street or the other 2 parking lots (that belong to other nearby places- a church and I forget the other thing) and they suggest having someone in charge of making sure to kinda "watch out" and go gentle let people know where parking is if they try parking in front. If the DOC is busy guiding people to seating, where the guest book is, where gifts/cards go if anyone brings any, etc. Then she may be too busy to deal with the parking, too. Although I hate asking anyone to "work" so I'm not sure what we'll do. Hopefully everyone will read the wedding website/included parking info and map and with a sign or two they can figure it out lol.

Yeah, I hear where you're coming from, Laura! I was thinking about making my MOH my go to person as well, because she is very mature and organized, but at the same time, I don't want to overwhelm her.

A day-of-coordinator seems to be a popular trend, and a good investment! But having it included in your venue is even more of a plus! Yeah, you would totally benefit from having a second pair of hands to help your guests with potential parking issues

Mine will be my FH’s brothers girlfriend! It’s important to us that she’s at the wedding, but we didn’t want any bridesmaids and groomsmen to have to worry about this while they were getting ready for the wedding! My aunt will be helping as well!

My aunt is going to be my day of coordinator! She’s a full-time event planner so she was the perfect person for me to choose! 😊 her daughter is one of my bridesmaids so she was going to be around a lot anyways!
