Hey beautiful friends,

I would like to know, who are your go to people on your wedding day? Meaning, who will be seeing to it that guests know where to go when they arrive, vendors being greeted and showed around, any questions or concerns that guests may need to be addressed, because as the bride or groom, we'll probably be too busy to handle things like that on the big day!

Coordinator?

Best Man?

MOH?

A bridesmaid or groomsmen?

A parent?

Anyone else? Would love to know what you lovely people have planned!

For us it will be our sons as well as our close friend and her wife. As long as I'm not running around in my dress getting things done at the last minute, I'm good!

My venue required a coordinator so they'll be handling it. If it weren't necessary to have them there, it would probably be my maid of honor.

We are relying a lot on our vendors, especially our caterer and dj, to keep to the schedule and keep things moving smoothly. There is also a venue coordinator- but I think they are primarily there to show us where the tables and chairs are and to ensure that we don't burn the place down. I'm not totally sure what types of questions would come up, though I know there's always something. We will be using lots of signage and figure we could ask people to do quick things as they come up. Luckily we have some pretty assertive friends and family so they won't mind stepping up. Also, we are hoping to get everyone liquored up- so hopefully this will help with minimizing anyone's major concerns. Smiley smile

I wanted a day of coordinator for this reason exactly. As of right now I haven't delegated anyone. I'm still trying to figure out how I will be getting the entire place decorated before people arrive and what not. lol

We have a day of coordinator. I cut other parts in our budget to get a DOC and I have no regrets. Mine has helped out in these last few weeks making sure we have everything in order and that I havent forgotten anything! Itll be nice to have someone there thats familiar with the venue and isnt part of our family and friends so no one has to work on the wedding day.
