I was over budget but not by too much. Maybe like 1.5k over. I'd say just think about what're your must haves and then for everything not in the must haves then you can scale down on

I’m not waaaaay over budget but over by a decent amounts, if I go over $5k in the next two weeks then I’ll consider it waaaaaaaay over my budgeted amount - wedding is in 14 days and I’m currently at $3000 over what I wanted to spend for my DW. Which I don’t consider bad when you account for a full wedding week of excursions, planning our own Bach parties, bridal party, rehearsal dinner, post wedding brunch, flights, hotels...we paid for everything ourselves and the $3k basically accounts for everything outside of the wedding day we ended up spending 🤣

In the end, we'll probably be about $3k over our initial budget, but my parents are paying for the wedding and gave us a flexible budget. My mom wanted me to upgrade some things since we've saved a good amount of money in other areas!

I never really set a firm budget, but I had a dollar amount in my head from the beginning that I would have liked to stay in range of, but knew from the beginning that it probably wasn't realistic. I think by the end of it, I'll be about 5k over what I originally intended to spend. So not horrible. Lol. I'm cool with it.

So far we're on track. But if a couple things go or way, we might be about $1-2k under budget.

I'm almost double my original budget. At first the budget was $15K. Then we upped it to $20K because the venue and catering alone ate up the entire $15K. Two months left until the wedding and we're creeping up on a $30k grand total.

We didn't have a budget per say but we thought we had an amount we would spend. We way underestimated and ended up spending double... oops lol

I think we’re about $1k over budget. I didn’t know there was so many little things that would start adding up.

I’m like $12k over budget. Basically I was very naive about wedding planning, my fiancé is more concerned about things being fancy than I am, and we had a long engagement so I decided I could save some extra over time. Can’t wait til it’s all paid off soon.

We're about 12K over our original budget and 7K over the revised one. However, I'm still far enough out to be working with estimate, so hopefully I'll be able to negotiate some of that down to stay on track better!

I wouldn't say over budget but over the budget that I had set in my mine. In my head I was like I could do this for 5-6K and I'm not spending more than that!!! We're at 13kSmiley cry

We pretty much didn’t have a set budget. But we definitely went over than the budget in my head that it was going to cost.

I was gonna luck out, and get a DC wedding done for 17k (which is nothing here) but I had to move the date and everything changed and it's waaay more expensive on less time. I'm sooo over budget.
