FH chose his closest friend who he calls his brother because they have been that close since they were children.

Best man is FH's best friend since middle school, they are practically like brothers.

Husband's groomsmen were his 4 brothers and he didn't want to play favorites, so he didn't have a best man!

View Quoted Comment Yes actually... and we had both come back to town at the same time and worked at the same store (he had been deployed and I had moved home after my last relationship). He actually asked my brothers permission to ask me out. My brother has been one of our biggest supporters. ❤

The best man is my FH's childhood best friend. FH was the best man in his wedding this past May and even though he hasn't asked this friend yet I'm sure he already knows he's going to be the best man.
