Totally get that, it's nice every once in a while but once she tries to bulldoze your ideas it's time to step back!

Niether- we are doing this all on our own.. if I would let her, his mother would do it her way and cheapest way.

Mine. His mom isn't big on the whole wedding thing. She just thinks we should go to the courthouse and get it over with

Oh no, I hate when that happens! I'm glad she respects that this is your wedding not her second one!

Honestly neither of our parents are very involved. We are planning the whole thing ourselves. Our parents are just happy to show up the day of.

My parents have been super helpful and I really appreciate it! Not overbearing but definitely giving tons of advice since they have already been through this several times with my other siblings. I'm grateful neither of our parents are the type to try to get "their way" or butt in too much.

Neither. And I’m completely fine with that. I give them updates of what we got accomplished and what we have planned. They make a positive comment like “oh that’s awesome” or something and that’s about it. It’s mostly been me and FH planning and our besties have helped out a little bit. No drama. Easy planning. No one else has an absolute say in things but FH and me Smiley smile

I think it’s all my mom and I talk about! Lol I make sure to try to involve his mom too though, I don’t want her to feel left out or feel like she can’t be involved because she can’t afford to help Smiley smile my step-dad and his dad just kind of kid lol

Probably my dad. We’re going to Hawaii with a group of 16 people so it’s not too big of a planning situation.

His mom. My parents don't act interested at all, and the wedding is taking place in PC Florida, which is where his family is from. His mom helps me with EVERYTHING. I'm so thankful for her. ❤

🤔🤔 I guess id have to say mine since they're paying for the wedding? But they havent really helped plan just kinda went along with whatever lol.
Note* my answers probably make me seem like a spoiled little princess but i promise im not! My parents are in their late 60's and my mom has alot of physical health problems so she doesn't get out to do any planning or searching with me other than the dress. So we just show her our ideas and she ends up liking most of them lol.
