My parents are definitely more involved. My mom is paying for the wedding and sends me pictures all the time asking my thoughts. She was with me when I bought my dress and listens to any opinions I give before booking any vendors. My FILs came to the engagement party and don’t want to talk about the wedding until the wedding day. None of her other kids had a wedding, they all eloped. She’s of course happy for us but more so in a way of “I’ll Venmo you money, just pick whatever rehearsal dinner spot you want and let me know the cost” so supportive, but not involved.

So far my parents are, but his family lives in a different state. As the wedding gets closer, I feel like they will get more involved.

Neither set. We decided to go to Vegas and get married on Valentine's Day, under the stars.

We haven’t planned a whole lot yet. But I’m sure his mom will be, she’s so excited to help. Our dads don’t really care about that type of thing.

Sadly neither for us. My parents do not support my choice of a spouse. His dad just passed away 6 months ago and his mom has no financial support at the moment. I'm hoping the both of us turn out to be pretty good planners Smiley smile

I involved my mom more than my MIL. My husband and I paid for everything so I was just bringing her to appointments for flowers, dress, etc. I did give my MIL updates when she asked or showed her what I was planning.

Although my big day is still far from today, i still think that neither of them want to get involved. I might consult with the both of them and they gave me their opinion on the what-how. But other than that, I believe they know what I'm doing. But if they had to, still the decisions are for me to make Smiley laugh

Neither cause we haven't told anyone we are getting married yet. We are trying to figure out how to tell everyone.

None! My fiancées parents are not supportive of our relationship, my father and I don’t talk, and my mother “doesn’t do girly things like weddings” so it’s just the two of us planning!

Neither. His parents are not here anymore and my parents are just not into it. 🤷‍♀️

My mom! She isn't over the top with helping but does when I ask. She toured the venue with us, went with me to find my dress, and both of our moms will be joining us for catering tastings. My dad is deceased and my fiance's dad and him don't have the greatest relationship.

Neither are truly involved because neither are paying for it, but I would say my parents show more of an interest in the wedding. His parents have not asked one question.

Neither of our parents are really involved because my brother is getting married a month before me now so they are more focused on that
