Oh boy, that can be so frustrating!! Glad you were able to plan without all of that!

Aw I'm so sorry to hear that. That's awesome that your parent's have been involved with it all!

I don't think either of our parents are too involved with planning anything.

Mine! Luckily both sets of parents are interested, but not at all pushy. Mine just happen to be very crafty and are helping out with tons of little projects.

My mom loves shopping for wedding items but his mom asks more questions and is more curious. So even split. My mom has a countdown going and will text me like I dont know lol. Neither parents are really involved in decision making. We did all the planning on our own but my mom will say something like hmm that's cute I wonder if you could use that in decorating and I will work magic from there lol. My mom has seen the venue a few times. His mom has not. Both moms have been dress shopping with me and love seeing pictures of fittings and hair and makeup trials. So like I said even split and I love it!

Both are quite involved, though his parents are snow birds and vacationing for the winter so they will not be able to be as involved during the winter months as my family.

Both of our parents are close in distance so far they both are. We all went to a venue together this weekend.

Neither really. We have them involved, but so far they are not really helping with any planning.

I guess mine in that they are paying for most of it, but neither set has been very involved with decision making. They’ve been good about letting us make it what we want it to be.

Mine, but to me it feels natural since I am the bride. His mom loves to plan things, so I try to include her whenever I can. She only has boys, so I feel like she deserves to be able to plan some things.

To be honest, none of our parents are involved with the planning. We don't mind!!

My mom is but that’s only because my mom lives here and his parents live in another town. Oh and because it isn’t the first wedding for either of us.

Neither. None of the parents are paying for anything. My father paid the deposit but he will get that back at the end of the event. I felt like if the parents aren't paying for anything than they don't have an opinion.
