Whose parents are more involved in the planning? Your parents or your fiancé(e)'s?

Mine are more involved, as they're paying for the bulk of the wedding, but they're not heavily involved. Just offering opinions, when asked for. As I mentioned in the previous round, they have handed over the money to us, equivalent to the exact total of what they ended up shelling out for my sister's wedding, and it's ours to do with what we wish. However, as it is their money, I feel obliged to ask their opinions on certain things.

They are helping out with their opinions, but there has been little to no talk about them assisting financially so it is more conversational wedding talk then actual wedding planning.

Actually neither of our parents are super involved in the planning. If I had to choose, my mom - who has been with me every time I've tried on dresses (there's been a lot of appointments ) but that's about it!

Well...this one is tough.

My mom gives more helpful input when asked about things, but doesn't really go out of her way to get involved. She's more than happy to help when asked. This is great for both of us.

His mom asks when things are getting done and basically pushes us to do things on her time schedule, but hasn't really helped with much.

Both Dad's haven't done anything, as expected.

Neither. We are planning it ourselves so our parents gave little involvement. My parents probably know more about our plans though

Aww that's so amazing!! It seems like they are both so excited for you and are happy to help where ever needed without being overbearing!

My fiancé’s mom has been a lifesaver. Very involved but not in a pushy way. In fact, I don’t think I would be able to do it without her. My parents just moved from California (where I grew up) to Michigan (where I live now) so they’ve been very preoccupied.

I would say his parents are more involved out of the parents (my mom passed at a young age and dad isn’t interested in girly things lol), but my aunts are super involved in that they need to know every detail and every step. I am very thankful for them helping raise us after our mother passed, but they can just be too much sometimes 🙄

Actually my cousin and Step Mom have been more involved in my wedding planning than anyone else. My cousin is basically my wedding planner because she handles everything lol everything is coming together beautifully.

Um, it's about equal right now. My mom and his mom are both helping plan. But my father is just waiting for the cost of it all lol

Neither. FH don't have either parent living and my parents just aren't that involved. 😕

My parents definitely! They paid for our venue and my dress and they're also hosting my bridal shower. So they're joining us for our menu tasting, my dress alterations, and planning for the shower. His mom is paying for our vendors and supplies for me to DIY stuff and she has let us have free reign. Though we always approve vendors with her though so she knows what she's paying for!

Neither. My parents are pretty chill and his parents if they had it their way would plan the whole wedding on their own..
So because of that, everything I do I keep it on the down low.. I don't want drama.
