We get married in October next year so we will know for sure then but I don't think it is a scam and the travel agency my mom went to doesn't believe it is one either.

Aww I'm sure she is so excited to help this time around! That's awesome that your sister has been able to help you find those more budget friendly vendors!

I totally understand that! I'm sure they are happy to give their opinions whenever asked! That's so nice of them to help you all out and not have any strings attached to it!

I’d say his parents (specifically his mom), but probably because they are closer. My parents live out of the state so I will call for opinions and stuff, but there isn’t a lot of hands on stuff they can really help with.

Definitely mine! His dad passed away last year, and his mom couldn't care less about our wedding.

Both of our parents are pretty involved thus far. I try to keep it kind of even. I do tend to send a lot of ideas to my sister and my mom though.

Mine ! My parents are paying for the venue and band so they arw more involved. His mom asks all the time about things but him being a man brushes her off. She rarely hears about plans unless she talks to me 🙈

We didn't involve our parents in the planning. It would've caused way too much drama

I would have to say my mom was the most involved. She helped me pick out my dress and jewelry. His parents weren't involved at all but his mom has been battling brain cancer for the past couple of years. Her short term memory is gone and a year after the wedding Everytime we see her she says noone told me you got married then smacks my husband and says how did you con her into marrying you? It's sad but sweet all at the same time.
