It's nice to have that extra set of eyes when it comes to making decisions! Have any of your friends in the area been helping at all?

Maybe his? Neither really seems to be though, because we are in early stages and paying for it ourselves...

My parents for sure, his parents don't want much to do with me or our wedding, or even our children.

Mine. Not a whole lot but she's made some suggestions and listens to me talk about everything. His mom sends me photos of things or suggestions as well occasionally.

My parents are definitely trying to be more involved. His parents are the sweetest. They don't bother with anything but are super excited. The difference is because it is the first wedding in my family while last one in his.

We are doing most of the planning ourselves. Our parents have had minimal involvement so far.

Equal parts both. He's the last of his siblings to get married so his mom has some good insight, but I'm my mom's first to get married so she's extra excited!

Unfortunately, it's been her ideas should be first and for most over anyone's and it makes my mom feel left out so she just stepped to the side. She told me when I wanted to talk about what I wanted she'd be there. So I listen to his mother out if respect.....but when I want to talk my actual plans, I go to my mama. Because, His mom always will let me tell her what I want or am doing and then she'll tell me her thing and say its better her way 🤷‍♀... She has had some cute ideas amd I've took them and put them to use! Over all, its her trying to plan her second wedding and she thinks this is her chance to do so.

That's great that both sides have been involved, it's nice to have other opinions and insights! I feel like I would do the same, especially since my sister and I have similar tastes!

My mom is more in the planning. His mom keeps referring his aunt, but no thank you. My moms trying to help me because she didn't get to plan her own. She doesn't want me to go through the same thing.
