Please include the size of your wedding as well.

Thank you!!

My wedding guestlist is around 250. Im hoping that this number stays here for sure. We both come from huge families and trying to work on a strick budget for 250 guest is well not working for me. we are getting married in Kansas City Missouri and things are not too bad as it would be in different popular cities, so we thank God for that but that doesnt mean that things cant get out of control but there are more afforable otptions that are just are great and nice. My budget for the reception venue was 3k tops so I was glad I was able to come under my budget.

It turned out that the #1 priority for the venue was a waterfront view. FH and I had to postpone our original wedding date and we found a wonderful hotel with a waterfront view. When looking for the new venue after choosing a new date, FH kept saying NO. Then we found exactly what we were looking for. Waterfront, can have the ceremony on site. It is a restaurant so there is a F&B minimum of 2K (late morning wedding). The food was the #2 priority because I'm a foodie.

    Ceremony costs is another $450.

    Total budget = $7500

    Guest List - 40

The mimosas will be flowing... Since it's a late morning wedding, we have the option of brunch, stations, or lunch/dinner menu.

The price and the fact that they included set-up, clean-up, table linens, dishes, and flatware. Our budget for the venue was no more than $1,000 and our overall wedding budget is $10,000. They didn't really offer any packages because they do not have their own catering. Also it is a golf club so the area around it is really pretty and the building was recently renovated so it looks really nice. For 4 hours we are paying $425 (that includes the set-up and all the other items I mentioned above.) I am inviting 100 people which is the max for how many can fit at the venue. I expect to see about 60-75 ppl show up. I was told it is big enough to seat 100 ppl with a dance floor.

Cont. we knew foodand booze would be most expensive part. we had 85 guests at $24 per plate, $600 on wine for the tables and $2,500 open bar.

They also set up tables with linens and the chairs around them for us as well as a raised platform for head tabke and raised stage, included podiums, and did tear down and clean up we just brought out what we brought in.

Our venue has a fairly small rental price, then a food minimum. It also comes with tables, chairs, and a planner, and they do all set-up and clean-up. So, for $4300, I have everything I need ($3500 food minimum). At other places, it was going to cost close to 4k just for the space...without chairs, catering, anything! Plus, I had a glowing review from the photographer, and have heard other positive recommendation since then. Plus, it's a beautiful space in daylight and at night, which will be great for pictures.
