We chose May 2, 2020. We have multiple factors involved. The 2nd came from our original anniversary of December 2nd. We are getting married outside in Wisconsin so we couldn't keep it in December. The month was all driven by work. We have very big decisions to make in July so we have to have all paperwork filed before then. 2020 was between deployments for one or both of us.

Tell your story!

We chose 02/20/2020 for a couple of reasons. The anniversary of our first date is on 2/26. We were looking at calendars and 2/20/2020 stuck out for both of us and it's February which was great and we figured a Thursday wedding would be a bit less expensive.

We chose may 9 2020. We wanted either a fall or spring wedding. We didn't wanna wait til fall 2020 so we decided based off our venues availabilities; may 2, may 9 or may 23. We chose the 9th!

We’re both in the education field, and our dating anniversary falls right at the end of the school year and is massively inconvenient for us lol. So we’re looking at late March/early April so our anniversary will always fall around spring break, meaning we’ll actually have time to celebrate every year.

Ours are kind of similar. Our original date was 3.28.20 but we were a week too late 😔. That was going to mark our 12 year anniversary and we wanted to marry on our date. Then we decided in April because it’s the week after the 28th of March. Then we changed it because i wasn’t so happy getting married in April. NOW our date is December 17th 2020. We choose the 17th because i was born on November 17 and my FH was born in December so we put his bday month and my bday day together and we both loved the idea of a winter wonderland theme

For us we chose Dec 7th, 2020. Reasons are; we wanted a weekday for cost, wanted an off season for cost, wanted a cooler weather time as we are in Arizona, we love the winter wonderland vibes like firepits, cuddles, blankets, smores bar, etc. The 7th because its in between Thanksgiving and Christmas so not too close to anything and it gets dark faster at this month which brings more time for the fun christmas lights!

We chose our wedding date July 31, 2020 based primarily based on when it would not conflict with our jobs and schooling. We also picked the date because my parents had limited time to travel and one of my relatives already scheduled their wedding for the following week and they wanted my mother to be the pastor who did the ceremony.

Our dating anniversary is 10/2. His parents is also 10/2 and his brother's is 10/3. SO we knew October was our preference. Unfortunately that first weekend was out because he's a fireman and naturally wants the guys on his shift to come. They work that first weekend and everyone would not be able to take off. This limited our dates to every third Saturday. It was either 10/10/20 or 10/31/20 and a Halloween wedding just didn't appeal to me. 10/10/2020 is also just a good number AND was available at our venue.

We chose November 28th 2020 for our wedding date because we started dating on the 28th. Shortly after we noticed that both of our birthdays are on the 28th of separate months. Because of all that the number 28th holds value to us. We thought it would be cool as there would always be reasons to celebrate on the 28th of every month, whether it be our dating anniversary, the date we got engaged, the day we got married or one of our birthdays.

I'm helping my 2 friends plan their wedding for 10/10/2020. I think they just like the numbers and that date is a Saturday, so it all works out. My wedding (30 years ago) was 9/9/89. My husband wanted that date and it was also a Saturday....!! My friends wanted a fall wedding and since it is a year away it's likely they will get the venue they are hoping for.

We chose 02.22.2020 because February is when my grandparents married and had a successful 68 years before my grandmother passed. We chose the 22nd because my birth day is 12.22 and my daughter’s is 07.22! We chose 2020 because we met at 17 years young and this year marks that we have been together half our lives!

We wanted our wedding in September because we love fall weddings but living in Buffalo, NY, the weather can be iffy in October and I didnt wanna freeze in my dress!! We picked 2021 because basically all the venues were booked for 2020. We preferred it to be on a Saturday and we didnt want labor day or September 11th. So we thought September 25, 2021 sounded nice 🥰

We're date twins! May 2, 2020! And our original anniversary is also on a 2nd (July)! We wanted to get married within 6-7 months. Once we decided on a backyard wedding, we decided May would have to be the latest. We're in Las Vegas, and it is HOT in June.

1/23/21! I’ve always wanted a winter wedding with beautiful snowfall ❄️ Apparently, the (average) snowiest day of the year in western MA is January 23. It also happens to be 6 years and 6 months from the day of our first date. It all seemed to make sense. Also doesn’t hurt it’s very rhyme-y: 1 23 21 ❤️❄️

We chose 10/10/20 simply because it was FUN… No other deep, passionate reason 🤷🏽‍♀️ 😆.

About 3 months after getting engaged, FH and I were watching a reality show and they went to Vegas for a convention. So, I turned to FH and randomly said “Let’s get married in Vegas”. He agreed and said it would be fun! Although we’ve been to Vegas loads of times at different times of the year, for us Southern Californians, Vegas gets too cold in the winter and is too damn hot in the summer (and we didn’t want to put our guest through that type of weather). So FH and I decided on Fall and when looking at the calendar, we saw 10/10/20 and it was PERFECT!

So in creating a cute meaning… I typically say that FH and I are each “Perfect 10’s” coming together! ❤️
