We chose May 2, 2020. We have multiple factors involved. The 2nd came from our original anniversary of December 2nd. We are getting married outside in Wisconsin so we couldn't keep it in December. The month was all driven by work. We have very big decisions to make in July so we have to have all paperwork filed before then. 2020 was between deployments for one or both of us.

Tell your story!

We picked November 5th, 2019 because on November 5th, 2018 we eloped at sunset on the James River with just my brother as a witness and a civil celebrant to sign the papers! It was beautiful but we want our families to get in on the fun so we planned a church wedding (my dad is a priest) and we’ll do a reception afterwards! It’ll be our one year anniversary/church blessing but it’s perfect! It’s exactly what we want!

We chose 10.10.2020 because of the date itself. It had no other significance than the numbers, but we're very glad to be having a Fall wedding. We had also considered 02.02.2020, but it's Groundhog Day which doesn't sound great for a wedding, and also Seattle is very gray and rainy in February.

We plan our wedding date of July 4, due to it being his grandfather birthday and my deceased nephew birthday. So instead of looking for other dates we went with one that was remembered by both our sides of the family.

We wanted a summer wedding so that our friends and family from out of town would have a better chance at coming and the weather would be beautiful. We also just thought our date 6/20/2020 sounded cool! Lol. Side note: we just found out this date is on the summer solstice 👌🏼

We chose June 20, 2020. Our wedding day will be June 20th, my birthday is June 21st, and we got engaged June 22nd so June is a pretty special month 💕

When we got engaged, my FML wanted us to get married in 2 months.... I got into a big fight and said I want to get married yesterday but I want a nice wedding and I don’t want to be stressed out of my mind! So with fiancé help we changed her mind, and got a 4 month engagement, only later realized November 3 is the day after our anniversary 😂🥰. So it’s the perfect date, it was meant to be, everything has worked out smoothly and we couldn’t be happier.

We picked the time that would be convenient for our Florida outdoor wedding and Caribbean honeymoon. We factored in tourist events in town, air travel cost, and weather.

We are going with anniversary of our first official date. We had actually planned to do something even more simple 7/28/19, however, his family couldn't attend something that soon. It also happens to fall on a Tuesday, which is great because:
    a. All of our family was traveling/taking off work in anyways
    b. Our venue is half-price during the week

July for the month we met, engaged, and he’s a teacher and I’m a nurse so it’s the best time to get off work

We planned the month around sunflower season since they're my favorite flower. We decided to go with September which happens to be the month we got engaged in! We knew it would be slightly cooler but still warm towards the end of the month so we went with September 18th, 2020.

We began dating January 23, 2010 and he proposed on Christmas day 2018. We are getting married January 26th, 2020 which is the weekend of our 10 year anniversary. We didn't want to have a summer time wedding especially because those ones are expensive and popular so we decided to keep our normal anniversary month and keep the date close to the same. Also, we've been getting some good deals having an off season wedding. I'd say its a win!

I’ve always wanted an August wedding. We had a lot of options for dates still open from the venue, but because his birthday is in August we decided to steer away from being so close to that. So, we just went with the last weekend of August!

We picked April 10, 2020 because he has issues remembering stuff, so we did our anniversary reversed. We got together October 4 2018.

We chose 10/10/20. Well I actually chose the date but he chose the month. I wanted 6/20/20 but it most likely will be hot & in the middle of harvest. He wanted October so I said 10/10/20 so it would be easy for him to remember (wink wink) lol plus the fall colors are gorgeous!

Happy belated wedding! Hope it was amazing! Keeping the dates the same would be awesome! I never thought of that but I would have been freaking out not having enough time to plan. Oh well the last 3 months of the years will be positive & always looking forward to with wedding/ anniversary & holidays!
