Wildwood Bachelorette

I go to wildwood crest almost every year with my family! So there’s a pretty big difference between wildwood and wildwood crest even though they’re right next to each other... wildwood crest is more family oriented and wildwood, while still nice, can get a little shady at night. I don’t think there’s necessarily high crime or anything, just seems to get a little seedy after dark—not to the point where you should avoid it, but just be aware of it.

If you’re in wildwood over the weekend, MAKE DINNER RESERVATIONS, no matter where you go. We’ve been screwed with 90 minute waits more often than once 🙄 especially in July during prime tourist season. During the week isn’t as bad, but most restaurants are super packed on weekends. As long as you make a reservation though you’ll be fine.

Little Italy is a great place for dinner—make sure you always have a reservation though. Also get polish water ice on the boardwalk, it is delicious! Alumni Grill is also one of my favorite places to eat... it’s more casual, just burgers and sandwiches and stuff, but it’s really good. Stuey’s is a great breakfast place that’s literally on the boardwalk.

Cape May is an awesome place to go during the day especially (it’s right over the bridge from wildwood). It’s such a quaint town with lots of shops and great restaurants. Hot Dog Tommy’s is a really renowned place there... it’s a hole in the wall hot dog place, which seems underwhelming, and I was always so confused as to why the line was soo long...... but it’s SO GOOD, I understand now why people wait so long for it 😂

Harbor View restaurant is also a great place to go. Again make sure you make a reservation. But they have great food and it’s right on the bay so it’s a great environment too!
