Will you preserve your dress or re-home it?

I keep going back and forth about whether it’s worth the money to preserve my dress. It holds too much sentimental value for me to sell it or give it away, but I know it’s unlikely my future daughter or daughter in-law would want it. What did everyone else decide?

I haven’t decided what I want to do with mine yet. Right now it seems too sentimental to part with after the wedding but at the same time I highly doubt it will be in style for a future daughter/daughter in law. My fiancé and I talked about keeping it until our first anniversary and then maybe doing some kind of photo shoot and making a final decision about it then.
Mine thing I know for sure is that I want to take a small piece of lace from an unnoticeable area and get a necklace made with it (I saw a picture of one online and it was very cute) that way I have something small and practical to definitely keep which could possibly be incorporated into a future child’s wedding someday.

I’m on the fence about what to do with mine! I love It but it also cost a decent amount.

Mine is still hanging up in my closet since we got back from our wedding. I haven't even dry cleaned it yet, I know ridiculous, right? Just not on my mind anymore.

The only thought I have is trimming it and dyeing it, so it can be worn at a work evening event or something like that, but I'm still undetermined..the thought of cutting it makes me cringe but the thought of it just sitting in my closet makes me cringe more.

If my nieces boobs weren't so much bigger than mine I'd adjust so that could wear it to prom or something, but they are all growing to be so much taller than me too.

Following this, because four years later my dress is still hung up in my childhood bedroom!

I'm keeping my dress! Not sure if I'm preserving it though. I have friends that never preserved there dresses and they look fine.
