Will you sleep separately the night before the wedding? Or are you ditching this tradition?

Traditionally, couples spent the night before the wedding sleeping in separate beds as a “last night alone” and so that you don’t wake up and see each other before the ceremony! Thank you, next (tradition): Something old, new, borrowed, and blue?

We did decide to do the First Look. I’m nervous about that being superstitious as I am, however the photo opp and moment will be so special and just as meaningful to us in it’s own place along side seeing me at the aisle. Smiley smile

Not sure yet, but probably ditching it! We have a 15 month old daughter and I have a 14 year old son, so we will probably stay in one of our wedding cabins on site the night before so we can get a jump start on decorating and then have a nice little family night in our cozy cabin Smiley smile my parents are already keeping our kids in their cabin on our wedding night and I dont want to shove them away 2 nights in a row, they mean just as much to this wedding as we do and I want them to feel included!

That’s such a good question. I think we will probably be separate. I’ll likely already at the hotel with my best friend who is one of my bridesmaids.

My fiancé and I will be staying together the night before the wedding! We have been together for 13 years, we are doing a first look before the ceremony, and we look forward to being with each other up until I start getting ready!
Plus, this way there isn’t any confusion or a lot of work in terms of logistics for hotel stays.

We are totally planning to be together the night before! I sleep best with him by my side, I don't want to be tossing and turning the night before the wedding. Plus, I can't wait to look at him and squeal, "We're getting married today!!!"

We'll be spending the night before the wedding together. We cannot sleep without the other and it'll save us some money too.

He and I still live, and will still be living, separately. We both still live with our parents right now but we are house hunting and he will be moving into the house before we get married when we purchase one. I will be living with my parents until we are married. I never wanted to live with someone before marriage. So, we will be apart for the wedding night.

We haven't decided yet. I think it might be a good idea but I'm leaving it up to him to make the final decision,
