Nope, I'll be alone. I don't "have" a dad (never met him/he passed away years ago) and since we're having a destination wedding it will only be just us and his parents. (My mom isn't in best health so she'll be coming to the reception back home)

Oh, don't be. I've never even met him and never knew him. My mom is great! It's just a shame she can't be at both the wedding and reception.

Holy moly! That view absolutely stunning!! How did you two decide to get married here? Have you been there before?

Thanks! Oh, it was a long process. Basically I Googled scenic places with mountains/water (we wanted both). We thought about Shenandoah, Virginia, Georgia, Colorado, and then saw photos of this place and Moraine Lake (as seen below) and fell in love! We actually thought it was across the world! ;-) It won't cost much either. We'll be going here after our ceremony for photos. But basically we found Emerald Lake was nearby, and a great place for weddings that's a little more private (less touristy)
