Will your veil cover your face while you are walking down aisle and during your vows?

Carlene, on February 28, 2014 at 2:49 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 39

I can't decide if I want it down or not? There is something so elegant about having it down though!

Don't do it if you're a crier - you'll get snot and tears all through your veil.

Blusher will be in place covering my face for the walk down the aisle, that's it.

Nope, it doesn't have a piece that flips for the front at all.

I thought the father of the bride removes the veil from over your face when he gives you away?

Nope, I don't want it covering my face. I am wearing one, but I want to see my FH and have him see me with no veil in the way!! It's ultimately your decision and what you want on your day!

While Dad and I are strolling down the aisle, yes. When he kisses my cheek he'll flip the blusher backwards so my face is in the ceremony pictures....in all my bawling glory... lol

I will have it down when I'm walking down the aisle and then having my dad flip it over as well. I want to see my FH clear as day and not thru a veil during the ceremony.

I'm going against what I always imagined for a/my wedding and not having it in my face. After trying it on, I felt ridiculous.

Nah. Although it does look beautiful on some brides, I found that look just wasn't for me.

I thought about it, but when I tried it the veil looked like it was glued to my forehead....so I'm not haha

As you can see by my profile photo I only had the veil that went down the back, nothing to cover my face. Never even thought about covering my face and nobody ever mentioned it either.

Mine will be back - I tried one in front and it bothered me since I felt like it was a "spit guard" they use at the jails/prisons. After that initial thought came to mind I was like, "nope, not covering my face".

I'm thinking I'll just get my dad to lift mine when we get to the front.
