Wine Themed Bachelorette Favors

Liza, on March 14, 2020 at 8:25 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 13
Please help!
My ladies and I are going vineyard hopping for my bachelorette and I’m trying to think of some favors that relate to the wine theme or could be useful that weekend.
So far I am getting them each a wine glass related to their interests (Star Wars themed etc) and a tee shirt we can wear out that has a wine quote (I’m letting them pick the quote). What else can I get? I don’t want to spend more than $20 on an item if it can’t be used again (anything that says bride tribe) but for everyday items they can use in the future, I’m willing to spend more. Also, I’ve already gotten my ladies PJs and makeup bags for the wedding which I am giving them at the rehearsal dinner.
Thanks in advance!!

What’s you’ve got is plenty! I’d be happy with the wine glass. Oh, wine paper cocktail napkins are about $5. Or a wine magnet?

If anyone is traveling by air, I think you can only fly with a corkscrew in your checked bag. Just something to keep in mind. If not flying, maybe a bottle to take home from one of the wineries? Or a gift card to a place like Total Wine so each person can go back home and buy their favorite bottle to enjoy again another day. 😁

Hats could be cute if you’ll be out in the sun. They don’t have to be personalized, or you could personalize with non-wedding things... like the state or airport code near where you’re all from. Or the state where the Bach party is.

I always think it feels like a 2nd grade field trip wearing coordinating items of clothing ( though at least not anything bridesmaid, that part is good.).
One winery tour I went on , near the wedding venue, the couple gave everyone 2 quilted-with-padding bottle bags. One that takes a single liter bottle, and one that takes two, with a quilted divider between the bottles. Velcro close tops, with a looped handle. We still use them 10 years later when bringing a bottle of wine or other liquor as a hostess gift, or in a picnic basket, or carried to a picnic. If wine is chilled, we even will carry them out to the yard, or patio, and trust kids 8+ to walk safely with it setting up, because a glass bottle with condensation is so slippery, but these are secure, and would contain glass shards if ever broken while walking with it, or in the cart, or dropped.

    Thanks, Judith!
You certainly need to know your audience before committing to t-shirts ha! My girls have asked for these and they have favorite sayings that they think are funny (makes pour decisions, etc). I was worried about the shirts drawing attention (like at a bar where guys might target drunk girls) but we are just going to vineyards in them.

I’ve actually been given a bag like what you described and it is nice to have because it has a handle and makes carrying two bottles much easier. We live near PA too which has a lot of BYOB restaurants.
