Winery Tour - Bachelorette Party

Private User, on June 9, 2014 at 11:14 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 9

Has anyone gone on a winery tour for a bachelorette party or their own? I have been on one with friends just for fun and had a great time. I would love to go out of town but I think that is asking a lot. We could go on the tour and stay at a lake front hotel. The "bars" in the area are not very nice so I am not sure if we would go out there or not. Just curious on different ideas or suggestions with this!

I've been on a winery tour for a Bach party- it was really fun! But we did one major winery for the tour then after went wine tasting at the smaller places around the area, there was like 100+ other tasting rooms in the area. So if you don't have something like that you might want to plan something in addition. Winery tours take maybe 1-2 hours if you're lucky.

We JUST went on a win tour for my bachelorette a couple of weekends ago and it was a blast!

It was really great because I moved from the east coast to the west coast a few years ago and have good girlfriends from both now. It was a great opportunity for everyone to get to know each other. To facilitate this, we did a pizza a beer night on the first day (carb loading for the main event). We actually rented a super cute house on AirBnB.com and it was a huge success.

We went with a wine tour company so that everyone could imbibe and be safe. We visited four wineries. They fed us lunch halfway through. We were actually part of a group of about 22 people (only 6 in my Bach party), but the added dynamics were actually A LOT of fun.

This is exactly what I did for my bachelorette. We rented a limo bus and visited 4 wineries and did tours/tastings and then ended the evening with dinner at an Italian restaurant.

In MN they actually have a company that will drive you around and do the winery tours. It's something I would love for my bach party lol but it's up to the girls to plan it.

We did the same as Jules except it was not an Italian restaurant. LOL. Had a blast!

Thank you ladies!! I think we are going to look into the house on the lake idea. It sounds so peaceful and it will feel like we "went away" as opposed to driving 45 minutes

We did that for my bachelorette! It was a small handful of us & we went on a tour that included lunch and someone driving us around (so no worrying about a DD and no drunk driving).

It was so fun! We all dressed up & my girls added a sash and tiara w/veil to my outfit so we ended up with larger pours than we probably should've. I highly recommend it!

We are doing that for mine. My friend owns a limo so he is letting us use it. Gonna spend the day touring the wineries then have dinner and hit the local bars in my area in the evening. Cant wait!!
