I’m a January bride. I don’t usually wear makeup (chap stick generally and lip gloss if I’m feeling fancy. Lol!). So for my wedding,
I’m going natural glam with the makeup. BUT, if I thought I could pull it off without looking too different, I’d go with the dark and moody in the first picture. That plum lipstick is gorgeous!!

I'm torn myself but I do agree that dark/bold makes for great winter wedding makeup. I'm February so I have this whole Valentine's thing in my head to do the bold. I would still want to do what matches best with my wedding dress and since it's not a white dress, I don't want it to look weird ya know??

Wear whatever you love. If a dark lipstick or eyeshadow is your signature look, then being a bride should not change that.

OK, I am completely biased here, because I love a dark moody look every day! LOL What is the vibe of your wedding? Is it a dark moody vibe? With a dark lip go with your wedding dress and aesthetic? If so, I say go for it!! And, if you want to the best of both worlds, you could always do a dark moody lip for photos & the ceremony, Then switch to a more nude lip for the reception (way easier to eat worry-free!).

I love a bold or dark lip!! I think it's very glam and elegant!

But personally I've never been able to find a shade I like on myself with my red hair!

The only reason I’m not wearing a dark lip is because I always wear a dark lip and I wanted a different look for my wedding day. So, I’m all for it.
