Hello! I am getting married in January 2020 and I am having a hard time deciding on what is appropriate to wear to the rehearsal. The dinner is dressy, but not black tie formal. I wouldn’t be offended if my girl's wore sweater dresses as opposed to a cocktail dress, but I’m not too sure if I’d be “dressed down” in one. Any experience or ideas?!? Thanks in advance for the help!!!

A rehearsal dinner can be as formal or informal as you want. A sweater dress or cocktail dress would be just fine.

I think a sweater dress is fine, just dress it up with leggings or tights(depending on length) and tall boots!
