Winter wedding timeline

Plenty of weddings take place at night, so as long as you are getting married and having your reception indoors (which I would hope for December anyway), then the dark won't be a problem.

The biggest thing you will need to consider for a timeline for a Friday wedding is whether most of your guests are local or from out of town. If local, I would start it later to give everyone a chance to get off work, get ready, and get to the venue. If they will be coming in from out of town, they will probably already be in town on Friday, so you could start a little earlier.
