Winter wonderland theme

Chinda, on August 30, 2019 at 6:07 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8
Hey ladies! I’m getting married December 2020, I’m debating on what to have for my centerpieces. I was doing a few DIY from Pinterest but it’s costing me more than $20 per table. FH and I are already spending 10k on the wedding and I’m trying to keep it under 15k. (Haven’t looked at places for cakes, need to dress shop, my bridesmaids need there dresses still as well, photography, make up, hair, etc. ) what do you think would be a good idea for a winter wonderland theme?

You could get the supplies for these from Dollar Tree.

These are DIY centerpieces for our winter/holiday wedding. Each cost about $20/each with most items being purchased during holiday clearance.

Check out hobby lobby if you have one. They have Christmas stuff out now. You can go online and get the 40% off coupon to use. I also think that they have sales on the Christmas supplies every two weeks. You can view their online adds. They run the same sales each month. Try Amazon and ebay.

Chinda, I don't know if this is helpful, but we have a large discussion with ideas for a December wedding. Lots of pics. It's titled " December 2019 Brides....Let's chat." Lots of different takes and themes. Best wishes.

You could also wait until after Christmas sales this year to get supplies and a big discount!

I too had a winter wonderland theme. I wanted and icy, snowy feel. I used shades of blue with silver. I alternated centerpieces. The ones with the wine bottle were cheaper (I was drinking the wine anyway. I just chose which one to buy based on the bottle shape, lol.) The votive holders came from dollar tree, the branches were from michaels and I go them on sale or with a coupon and were less than $2 each!
The ones with the candles were more, I think each candle holder cost between 9 and 12. I had to get them different places because one place didn’t have enough. I got them from Ross and Burlington.
Shop the Christmas section this year once stuff starts going on sale/clearance. Also don’t forget to look on FB marketplace.
The chargers were $1.30 (including tax) but i sold them after I was also able to see all the votive holders. So I got some money back.
Oh and I did plain silver napkin rings with “blingy” ribbon from dollar tree. I think I made 40 for $3! I don’t have a good picture of those, so it’s just sitting on a counter. The ring napkin holders were Christmas ornaments from Cracker Barrel I got them for under $2 a piece. (I actually bought them before we even got engaged, lol)
look around for sales and deals, don’t get discouraged. And get creative I don’t think anything i used as decor at my wedding was a “wedding” decoration.
