Hello all!

So the wedding is coming up fast. February 2nd, 2019! My FH and I have off for the week following our wedding. There is no way we can afford to do a big honeymoon now as we are saving for a house.

I was curious if anyone had any suggestions for a mini honeymoon in Wisconsin. Keep in mind, this will be winter. Also, dog friendly would be ideal, but not required.

Or if someone has any at home honeymoon fun ideas, let me know! I like the idea of staying home for a couple days and have together time.

I’d recommend you look into Door County! It’s more of a summer spot but in the winter I’m sure it will still be beautiful but without the crowds! There’s many restaurants, shops, wineries, etc.

I went to the Dells once in February. Cheap hotels and the indoor water parks are still open, if that's your thing!

Hey Chrissi! What kinds of things do you all enjoy doing? You could always look into getting an AirBnb at Lake Geneva and just spend a few days there relaxing and spending time together! Or maybe look into doing some brewery tours in Milwaukee!
