Won a free trip?

I just googled it and it looks a little shady. Google “Odenza free vacation scam” and a lot comes up. It looks like you have to pay hundreds in “taxes” and then they give you some other big charges but don’t tell you what they’re for. And you have to go during the dates they choose.

Definitely google that yourself and read what some of the reviews have said!

We got a “free” cruise when we signed our lease at our old apartment and ultimately we still paid less then the price of the cruise but it did end up running us a couple hundred in port fees and taxes. It’s never completely free lol.

I signed up to go to 1 bridal show and never ended up going, but I did get 2 calls. I "won" a free vacation & a boudoir shoot. I ignored both. I've won other things since then for bridal shows they say I attended, even though I never did. So I say probably a scam.

View Quoted Comment You could always call and get more details like what fees you will have to pay out of pocket for and all. It might be significantly less than just booking the cruise yourself. When we booked we struggled to get ahold of the people too which was frustrating. I guess just depends on how much time you want to devote to it lol

Omg I won a vacation through that company too. Now I have to look into this now that you have brought it to my attention.

We even won a contest in which we received another trip, but they lie to you about the places where you stay...they aren’t Whyndam resorts, they are affiliates, so god knows what those hotels will be like and we called well in advance of the dates we wanted and of course, those dates were unavailable. I was like we are calling a year out and you don’t have availability?! Sketchy!!! So they want you to travel on dates that work for them and in hotels that breed god knows what weird disease....not a good vibe, found rings that were cheaper on Etsy than what they gave us and same thing with the champagne flutes...found cheaper ones on Etsy (although my husband and I are not big champagne drinkers where we need our own flutes...one and only time they would be used). Don’t do it, sketchy!!!
