I received a call from National Registry that stated that FH and I won a choice of one gift package after attending a bridal expo recently. But we both have to attend one of their Bridal Registry event. Packages choices: Wedding bands (value $800) All inclusive vacation to Mexico, DR, or Bahamas, (3d/2nd) All exclusive vacation within the US from 20 locations (for 3d/2n) I'm trying to avoid a scam or wasting my time, its a 90 minutes demostration of products showcase at a local hotel. Anyone been to this? What was your experience?

Yeah, I went in January. I would not be worried at all! Like I said in my previous comment, it's super legit! There were 4 couples when I attended, and 2 couples did not buy anything and the other 2 (us included) did buy something. Just know that the presentation is going to be excellent! The rep we had was definitely really good at selling the product, but if you truly do not want to buy anything because maybe it's too expensive, just stand firm and let him know you do not want to make a purchase at this time. The reps know that people just go to get their free gifts, but there are always 1 or 2 who do get "sold" on it. The couples who did not buy anything still got all their freebies! Smiley smile

I was very skeptical at first but my FH and I went! There were 4 other couples, 5 including us. We were the only ones who didn’t purchase the pots and pans. The sales rep Jerry did a great job with the presentation and trust me if we had pots and pans in our budget we would have gotten them hands down. Just too expensive :/ we did go home with the gifts but I have yet to go on the trip or claim the flute glasses and wedding bands. I did however read all the terms and conditions of the trip and all seems legit so we’ll see!

It actually went well! I went with my twin sister and we were the only ones there because the weather was bad. He literally gave me the gifts and said “I’m supposed to cook and try to make you buy these pots but I won’t cause no ones here!” He explained everything fully and was super friendly! This is legit! Go for yourself and see!

Heck yes, I needed to read your review. I'm going tonight in West Chester Pa, with my future mother in law because my parents are deceased. The lady said we are under NO Obligation to purchase anything. She said, it is a cooking show demonstration, however, I aint no sucka so I can definitely say No to get these gifts. I'm super unhappy about having to sit so long through a demonstration, but after reading your review, It may be worth it..

This is totally not a scam! I completely understand why a lot of people think it is, if my friend hadn't done this before me I for sure would not have gone. I just got home from the hour and a half long (ugggggg) sales pitch you have to listen to in order to get your prizes. They are telling the truth when they tell you that you do not have to purchase anything to get the prizes. You sit and politely laugh at jokes about pots and pans and then you grab your prizes and go.

They do have really nice pots and pans, but I'm saving up for a wedding and honeymoon, there's no way I have any left over money to spend. Plus I just got a new set from Costco so...

Anyway! What they don't tell you on the phone is that you have to choose at the end of the sales pitch if you want the domestic or international package, you don't get to take home both options and mull it over so go in there with a plan. Both of these offers do have an expiration date! I think the domestic one expires a year after getting it and the international one (that I got) doesn't expire until June 2021, which is perfect since we're getting married in May that year. If you buy something that day they'll give you both the domestic and international packages.

The wedding bands are also super nice! They have some samples there and a ring sizer so you'll know your exact size. The only thing you need to pay for the rings and champagne flutes is $25 in shipping each.

It's a pain and annoying, but I think all of the prizes are worth giving up an evening. Smiley laugh

I had just gotten a call from them myself today. I was looking them up online to see if it was legit. Thank you everyone for your input. And, now I know, not gonna go see them tomorrow.

Hey everyone! I received a text a few weeks back about winning a trip and champagne flutes and rings if I went to this cooking class. I immediately got on here to see if anyone else got the same text, turns out others did but the responses were mixed so I wanted to update everyone on my experience. So here it is! We went and sat in this cooking demonstration at a local hotel with 12 other couples, it was about 90 mins, the demonstrator was really funny and made the time go by pretty fast. He tried to sell everyone on some really nice cooking pots! They were really nice! But the interest rate was 23.99% 😳 my fiancé was all about it but I stood firm! Anyway the demonstrator sold 8 couples on the equipment and we didn’t have to buy anything and got our gift cards. I immediately ordered our champagne flutes and they just came today. I won’t say they are Lenox by any means but they are decent. I paid $24.95 and they came within 10 days. Seems Legit, right? I’m ordering the rings now. I’ll keep everyone updated. The samples we saw that night were not great but we are going to use these rings for the nights on the town when we don’t want to have our bands and on the honeymoon Incase they get lost. So far, so good

I just received a phone call today for this same thing. Just wondering if anyone has actually used the vacation? I am skeptical but for 2 nights/3 days of vacation I am willing to sit for 90 minutes!
