Hello!
My fiance and I are getting married October in Portugal (pushed back from June 29).
We celebrate 10 years together on June 8 and will be going to the court house for a civil ceremony (this is necessary for our church wedding in Portugal). So instead of a bridal shower we originally wanted to celebrate after our civil ceremony with a "send-off celebration" prior to our wedding in Portugal. Only immediate family will be present at the civil ceremony.
however now that we have had to push back our wedding date, a send-off celebration 4 months prior to the big day seems odd.
Any suggestions on what we can write on an invite. currently my only thoughts are "xx and xx joyfully invite you to celebrate a decade of love".
Any help/inputs would be greatly appreciated!
