Hello All,

We will be having a meet and greet pool party in July for our families and our bridal party. We are doing this that way everyone can meet each other before the big day. I want to include a piece of paper with the invite that says something about how this party will be pending the COVID 19 stay at home order. How should I go about doing this? How should I word it? Thanks in advance!

I think that everyone knows that all social events are pending stay at home orders. I don’t think it’s necessary to mention it.

    Hi Emma,

I would keep it super simple! I would do something like "Due to COVID-19, we will be monitoring the situation. Should we need to cancel/postpone, we will let you know as soon as possible."

Or, you could always skip this step and should you have to cancel down the road, you can send out a funny postponement card. I saw some cute/funny ones on Pinterest today! They said "Oh SHEET! We are postponing this event" and it had a picture of toilet paper on it. Just something to keep it light!

I hope you are able to find the best option for you and your partner. Sending lots of love your way!

    Smiley heart
