At a wedding I attended years ago, the DJ played a CD during dinner -- the greatest hits of Hall and Oates. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Hall and Oates. "Maneater" just doesn't get me in the mood to celebrate love and happiness.

Literally went to a wedding and their first dance song was about the girl leaving him. Honeybee by Steam Powered Giraffe. They actually split up about 3 months later.

Any rap, hip/hop, alot of today's music can be considered a huge no, but thats my taste. Anything involving breaking up or being single or cheating... There are alot of wedding appropriate songs. Ask your DJ for advice as well, what he or she thinks would be inappropriate.. Google and Pinterest has helped us alot in that area as well... We are also going off songs we like, making a list and then reading over it, type deal.
