Worst wedding you've been to?

So just for fun: what's the worst wedding you've ever been to? What happened, what was bad about it, etc? I photographed weddings for 5 years and have seen A LOT of crazy stuff, but the worst wedding I went to was on Christmas Eve, in the clubhouse of my FIL's active adult community, where the groom...

I photographed weddings for 5 years and have seen A LOT of crazy stuff, but the worst wedding I went to was on Christmas Eve, in the clubhouse of my FIL's active adult community, where the groom insisted on making a bunch of lasagnas for dinner, and that's all there was to eat. Reheated, flavorless lasagna he made one at a time a week before the wedding and froze. What's yours?

Worst wedding was this past fall. It was unseasonably hot - 93 degrees and the ceremony was outdoors with no shade. The ceremony started late. Someone passed out and an ambulance had to be called. Followed that fiasco with a cash bar reception (the first I've ever been to). There wasn't enough parking at the venue and people had to park down the street and walk. There wasn't a seating chart (also a first for me) and it was awkward as heck! The tables were set for 7 so there was a random person at each table without their partner. There were 5 long boring speeches including the MOH's where she basically admitted she slept with the groom before and had conversations about it with her children (yes, her children!). The DJ was awful and did an awkward thing where he had guests going out to grab other guests and bring them to the dance floor. I absolutely love the couple, but we left early.

I was at a wedding where the bride's mom worked at a deli so she brought the food. Fine, right? No. They ran out, thought two liter bottles of soda would be good enough and there were not enough places to sit.

Also - a wedding outside with tents but.....farmlands were close, it was July (very smelly) and an Ipod playing music. No TY card later.

There is a lot of back story leading up to the worst wedding I have ever attended. Long backstory short, a friend and I were both friends with the groom in college. We hadn't spoken for about four years, but re-connected at his best friends funeral. We were both asked for our addresses the day after the funeral, and received the wedding invite with a day left to send our RSVPs. I didn't want to think poorly of it, considering the circumstances over which we were re-connecting, so I dropped it and was excited to attend. The day of the ceremony, friend and I arrived 15 minutes early. The room was empty, aside from decorations. No other human in sight. Ten minutes later, the bride and groom pass us in the lobby. They were just finishing breakfast in their pajamas with their families at the hotel restaurant. No one was anywhere near ready. I was in shock! Also, it was an Indian wedding and the ceremony lasted almost two hours - for which I was prepared, however not after it started so late! I was so hangry by the time it ended! There was also a 4 hour gap between the ceremony and reception, so we decided to show up a little late for when they said cocktail hour would start, and... once again... they started super late. We were not served dinner until almost 830 PM. By that time, most people were crazy drunk because there was only alcohol to consume for the two hours prior to dinner. I had never met the bride before and when I was finally introduced she was so rude to me! I didn't say anything because I didn't want to ruin her day, but I just kept thinking "What was the point of inviting me?" I felt like they kept alluding to the fact that we were last minute invitees... I didn't ask to be invited! To top all of this off, even though I bought them fairly generous gifts... no thank you card!
