Would this seem strange?

So basically I know what song I want to walk down the aisle to and it has lyrics. I’m very set on using this version of the song and am not planning on changing it. However I’m stuck on the wedding party. I was thinking about a violin/ piano version of Married life from UP for the wedding party but it’s obviously just an instrumental song. Would this seem weird? If it transitions from a song with no lyrics to a song with?

I don’t think it would be weird at all. Some guest might think the instrumental part was the beginning of the song before it start. I think it will be fine. If you’re having a rehearsal I’d recommend trying it out to see how it flows, but I think you should be good.

Unless you're having a religious ceremony, there's really no rules on what you can/ can't play for the processional. Having an instrumental version for the wedding party and a song with lyrics for you sounds fine to me! If anything it'll put more focus on you as the bride.

Don’t think it’s weird either! I love the married life instrumental from up I was also debating on whether or not to use that one but leaning towards one of the Bridgerton instrumentals haha

If you are ok with it then it's ok to have let make sure that what you want. I will have lyrics for the whole ceremony we dont have to be all that traditional every wedding has it's own style now. But it's in a church then certain songs don't belong in a church.

I don’t think it’s strange. Do what makes you happiest. My bridesmaids will likely walk down to a song with lyrics while the one I chose is instrumental.
