Would you combine green and teal?

Yeny , on November 9, 2011 at 11:03 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 20

Anyone please HELP! I love the color teal and the color green but not sure how those two can be combined in my reception and bridal party... I would like a nature/spring type of wedding... is there any other color that would help bring these two together.. any idea would help a lot!

Hi Yeny!! These colors can go together - it's your wedding so it's whatever colors that make you happy =) - but for inspiration I found a picture with teal and green

It can be done, just be careful with the shades you pick, I love the inspiration board Gina posted.

You could do like a peacock theme. a peacock feather has both those colors in it. i think that would be super cool.

I'm sure it can be done, but it may be difficult! Make sure you are comparing EVERYTHING to it's counterpart.

I've seen it done before and it look pretty...you might want to add white or silver in there as your 3rd color

I think they look good together. Agree with Yardiegirl about adding a 3rd color like silver or white or Carly's suggestion of a peacock theme and adding the peacock blue.

Omg I love all the pictures that people are posting - at first when I read your post I wasn't sure if those would look good together, but after seeing these pictures, I think it looks great! And it definitely reminds me of springtime, which is what you wanted! I think teal BM dresses would be beautiful.

I think the tan color in the picture above (@Hayley C's post) would bring them together well. You could put the guys in tan suits instead of black and I think that would look great.

If you like the peacock idea...here's some more on that...

Also, I LOVE green, teal, and orange! I know it's just a pillow below, but I love the way the colors look together. But then again, adding orange would make it more like Fall...

    Yeny,

Those colors can be absolutely great together! To avoid having it look as though there might be something missing, try adding a "sharp" color such as lemon yellow or fuschia. For a wonderful flower to accent the teal and green, look at red/pink Gloriosa Lilies. They are fabulous in creating interest and accent to bouquets & decor!
