The reason why I am asking this question is because my soon to be husband and I both birthday is in October is that a good thing or a bad thing to have your wedding as the same month as your birthday or on your birthday and how would you do the gifts. Yes!!! I actually wanted to do that but the date wasn't avaliable at our reception hall so I did the day before my birthday

Don't have a wedding on your birthday!
Your future husband/wife will think that it is all about YOU, when it is all about BOTH of you!
Ofcourse I'm not judging anyone who DOES have a wedding on their birthday,
but in my opinion, it's not a good idea.

Did you end up having your wedding on your birthday? If so, how’s it been? I’m in the same boat- my favorite venue so far in the spring only has my bday as an option for a Saturday wedding

It’s a horrible idea, you’ll be with you the rest of your life, they possibly will not 50/50 chance they will or won’t, your day is your day,
Our day should be a completely different day,
Think of this, if and when spouse 2 enters the picture, do you really want that reminder looming overhead?

My wedding is the day before my birthday in November. Hey...knock out bday and honeymoon trips in one. But i told my fiance' that I want double gifts lol.
