Wow...the perfect venue, but that date didn't work? I think I'd change the date.
Especially if, after answering that previous WYR, only 30 guests were coming. The people I would be inviting would be flexible since they either live close or are grandparents who are retired. The only problem would be my maid of honor, she's in school still and I'm trying to plan it for her spring break. But we'll see. He hasn't proposed yet still (after we went ring shopping in...April? May?), so we may end up getting married during the summer, which would be easier on guests who are still in school!

Don’t have a venue, but feel like if it was the perfect venue, then change the date. If I was inviting a lot of people, then keep the date and change the venue.

Date. Our reception venue was a good match for our budget/location. We honestly determined the date by asking "Which Saturdays in the Fall of 2019 do you still have available? Just one? Okay, we'll take it!" Booking a church for the ceremony on that date was easy afterwards.
