Would you rather... change your date or change your venue?

Venue..... after what we are paying now I could’ve afford my dream barn wedding just with a smaller guest list

I Just started planning my wedding and I found a Venue that I am in love with. I have yet to see it in person and I don't know the price yet, but I feel determined to book it because I love it that much. We wanted our date to be a year from now, but if I had to move it in order to be able to book my venue, I would without any hesitation.

I would rather change my date then change my venue

If I had to choose, that’s a no brainer, change the venue. I’d hate to do it because I love our venue and everything about it but our date is too special. It’ll be our 10 year anniversary from when we started dating.

Date! I already changed the date to have my venue when I signed the contract, haha

I would rather change my venue. It would easier for my guests to travel to a different venue location than to change their schedules and come to my wedding on a different day.

I've already gone through this, and had to do both. When I first started planning, the date was the one thing nobody could sway my mind on, however, things happened, and our date ended up changing. After that, we thought we had a dream venue, but the venue turned out being deceitful and now we've found an even better venue. I was less bitter about the venue than the date so I guess I'd rather change my venue than date.

Change the venue. We’ve chosen our date specifically so that none of our siblings were in school at the time of the wedding. I definitely didn’t want them to have to take time off school so it was just easy to plan a summer wedding.

I changed my venue and would not change my date. In my opinion the Date is the hardest thing to nail down. Changing your venue can be done easily as long as you don’t have a fully executed contract and/or non-refundable deposit. Overall if you’re not comfortable at that location or don’t picture your big day happening there- change it!

Depends on the circumstances.. if it’s something simple like a day or two then the date but if it would be delayed by a month or more, I’d change the venue.

That is an easy one, I'd change my date. A great venue is a hard to find.

I think I would change the venue... I have our whole wedding planned around a specific date, I can find a new venue.. Lol

Change the date, my venue is very special to me!

Change our date, we settled for our second favorite month although December was our first choice due to our anniversary being in that month. However the weather in NJ is unpredictable and I would be pretty bummed if we had a lot of last minute cancellations.

I would rather change the date. Finding a venue that I like and that is within budget is too hard.

I would rather change the venue then the date. The date is special to us. As long as we are together the venue is less important.

I already had this scenario happen!!! We changed our date because the venue we wanted didn't have our date available. We changed the date again when the DJ we wanted wasn't available.
