Would you rather... cut the shower or the bach party?

We cut the bridal shower and engagement party. Most of our guest are from out of town I don't want anyone spending more money for either.

The bach party. I have a man of honor (my brother) who's 10 years older than the bridesmaids and me, so it's a little difficult to come up with something that suits us all in such a tiny town. I also prefer showers because it involves a lot of my family I deeply care for - aunts and cousins - that are much older, but still want to be involved.

Skip the shower. Don't need any gifts. The bachelorette party is something I have envisioned since the thought of getting married. My girls have us set up to go to New Orleans for Essence Fest., an it's my birthday weekend---EPIC!!

I would cut the shower. I don’t think they are necessary and i don’t really like all the attention. 😂

I'd cut the shower. I'm in my late 30s and don't need many household items. The bachelorette party on the other hard is going to be a cruise, and I'm a cruise fanatic (been on 17 and counting!)

The bach party for sure! Since we’re young, a shower would be so helpful for us. If we had to cut it, I don’t know what we’d do.

I’d cut the shower...most family and friends I’d want in attendance wouldn’t be able to come anyways. Plus FH and I already been living together for several years so not really sure on what we’d need to be gifted

We are not having a bridal shower. Even though I'm already married(courthouse wedding before deployment), we are still having Bach parties, despite what etiquette police may say. And mine will have no male genitalia anything anywhere. We are going to use the opportunity to get all the girls together, and I mean pretty much all of them, since we are having a kind of destination wedding. We want everyone to get acquainted so no one feels left out on the wedding day. And my sister and best friend were too excited to plan it so I told them to keep on haha. No need for a bridal shower though.
