Would you rather... get married two months or two years from now?

Wedding planning can be difficult, but would it be harder to speed it up or slow it down? Would you rather get married in two months or two years from today? (Or this past weekend if you don’t want to get married on a Tuesday.) Thanks for playing Would you rather? Round Two! Make sure to check out...

2 years. I would want the time to ensure that I have everything that I want instead of being rushed.

Two years. We’be waited this long. Plus the venues, vendors, and whatnot would have the date available with that timeline!

2 years.....because that’s exactly what I did lol a 2-year engagement. We’ve been together for over 6 years, and lived together for 5, the actual wedding is just a formality at this point 🤷🏼‍♀️

    2 years? So.... October 2020?

It's a nice round-number of a year, so our wedding date would be 10-something-20. x)

We also haven't started planning ANYTHING and both of us have year-leases that aren't up until Aug 2019, while the last time we talked about it, it was gonna be a Spring 2019 wedding. So I think that to wait for 2 years, and for him to have all the time he needs until he's ready to propose, that would be good in that respect.

I mean, yeah, I don't really want to wait that long, especially since I've been thinking about the wedding since we started dating 2 years ago! But 2 months....what would *that* look like?

I used to want a December wedding, until I remembered that I've never liked my birthday and Christmas being in the same month, and that having a wedding anniversary in that month as well would be even worse..... So long term, that wouldn't be ideal.

In 2 months, Alex will still have his apartment that's close to his job that he wants to quit, and I can probably talk with my landlord about sub-letting my current apartment, but then my commute to work would be twice as long as it is now. We'd probably just elope if it was going to be 2 months from now, and I've thought about that before, hehe. A lot of people might be disappointed that they couldn't be at the wedding, but we could throw a 1-year anniversary party next year after life isn't as crazy anymore.

I feel like in the long run, if we wait longer, we'll be more settled and actually *ready* to be married. Right now, I still struggle A LOT with keeping my own apartment and kitchen from getting messy, and Alex is going through a really rough time with his job being a nightmare. Am I really saying that waiting 2 years wouldn't be that bad? Am I really saying that I would choose to wait? I think so.

I'd rather get married 2 years from now. -.- I should say that before my heart says I don't want to wait that long.

It would be a crazy two months but I think I could do it! One month of planning down and we already have most of the "important" stuff. I'm a very patient person...but after 5 years of dating I don't need an additional 2 year wait Smiley laugh

Two months. I feel like the more you wait the more difficult it becomes as you start seeing so many options.

Two months! I’m mostly ready even though my wedding isn’t until June. I could Def make it happen in two months. I’d die if i had To wait two years. Ugh no way.

Two Months. I'd rather get it done and over with. Though that is if we could cancel venue and throw everything together like that.

Though if couldn't cancel venue, I'd say 2 years, gives us more time to save $$. Though I'd hate the stress of dragging out the planning for 2 years. Arg!
